Become a Foster

Every rescue dog needs a safe place to land and sometimes, the difference between a dog being saved and being left behind is simply having somewhere to go.

When you foster, you open your home to a dog who needs a little time, patience, and love before finding their forever family. You don't need to know everything. You don't need to have all the answers. You just need to be willing to give a dog a chance.

We'll be there with you every step of the way.

📱 A rescue team — To an Anwser questions and concerns 


❤️ Adoption support — We will help find the right forever family when the time comes.

What you Provide

A safe home.
Patience.
Love.
And a willingness to let a dog discover what it feels like to be safe.

You might be the first soft bed they've ever had. The first person they've trusted. The first time they've ever been loved simply because they're a dog.

You could change a life, and still have room on your couch.

-Fosters also have first rights to adoption. Adoption agreement and fees must be processed in the first 72 hours.​

  • I understand a DHAR Representative may visit my home for a home inspection before my foster application is approved
